Ultimate Pokémon Emerald Cheat Codes List (Action Replay, GameShark & CodeBreaker): One of the most loved games in the series is still Pokemon Emerald, and many players find that using cheat codes makes the game even more thrilling. Action Replay, GameShark, and CodeBreaker codes let you accelerate your progress, discover secret features, discover rare Pokémon, and get an endless supply of stuff.
For the GBA version of Pokémon Emerald, this guide compiles the most reliable and up-to-date cheat codes to enhance gameplay while maintaining a seamless, delightful experience. Get started and learn how to make your journey more powerful than ever.
What are the most Common Cheating Issues & solutions?
Shiny Pokemon Name Glitch
This is the most common problem among gamers who use the shiny hack. The good news is that deactivating the cheat before obtaining the shiny Pokemon is a simple solution to this issue.
Bad Egg
When utilising the shiny or wild Pokemon encounter cheats, this is a rather frequent issue. If you find a bag egg at your party, don’t save your progress to prevent this issue. The only solution, though, is to put a bag of eggs in your box if you unknowingly save your progress. Disabling any enabled cheats after usage is beneficial since bad eggs could come back if you fail to disable the hack that causes them.
Corrupted Bag
Cheats such as all tm/hm, all Pokeballs, all things, and other similar cheats cause this. The trick will fill your bag to the capacity with useless items, leaving little space for new ones.
Emulators that need the addition of “+” for spaces
Some users have recently reported that the cheats are not functioning. It’s crucial to remember that some GBA emulators demand the addition of a “-” rather than a space due to special settings. For example, in OpenEmu, the rare candy cheat would be activated by entering BFF956FA+2F9EC50D.
Freezing and Random Restarts
This occurs when many cheats are utilized at the same time. Combining one cheat with another rarely works in most situations. Because of the potential for random restarting and freezing, we always advise utilizing one hack at a time.
Select Your Emulator for GBA
Pokémon Emerald and other Game Boy games may be played on a Game Boy Advance emulator, aside from customized Game Boy Advances. GBA emulators are available for free download, while some offer premium editions. The top GBA emulators that are currently available for free download are:
- Delta Emulator
- mGBA
- VisualBoy Advance
- No$GBA Emulator
- BatGBA
- Higan GBA Emulator
- OpenEmu
VisualBoy Advance and mGBA are two of the greatest GBA emulators available today. The latter is compatible with nearly everything and receives frequent upgrades and repairs. All GBA games, including Pokémon Emerald, run well on VisualBoy Advance, which is why we suggest it.

Standard GBA ROMs are all compatible with VisualBoy Advance; however, ROM hacks are a different matter. This emulator, along with many others, allows you to enter cheat codes. Our second choice is mGBA because of its ease of use and support for ROM patches. There isn’t much technical knowledge required to set it up.

Wrapping Up
In Pokémon Emerald, using cheat codes can completely alter your experience by allowing you to have complete control over fights and exploration, obtain uncommon items, and accelerate advancement. These illegal activities allow for an enjoyable, experimental aspect of the game that many players find appealing when utilized appropriately.
To prevent bugs or corrupted saves, just keep in mind to activate one cheat at a time, save often, and disable codes after usage. Cheats may speed up, simplify, and greatly increase the customization of your Emerald journey if they are set up and used carefully.
